Blueprint Planning

Prepare before you activate Expert Modifier

Golden Wrenches move you through the modification tree, but Modification Blueprints determine how much upgrading you can actually do during an Expert Modifier session. Use your live in-game upgrade cost here so the estimate stays useful even as costs rise.

Planning rule: Near Hercules, treat 170K–200K Blueprints as the practical prep range. Later in the tree, a useful rule of thumb is current upgrade cost × 130 because the cost rises while you work through the 100-upgrade window.

Unlock Hercules

The activation becomes available after the Hercules stage. It does not need to be clicked immediately.

Build the blueprint reserve first

Once activated, the window is limited. Do not start with only enough Blueprints for a handful of upgrades.

Block out the full 30 minutes

Have the vehicle screen open and avoid activating it when you may need to leave the game.

Stack scoring windows when practical

Vehicle Blueprints and Golden Wrenches score on Alliance Duel Modification Day and during the matching Full Preparedness vehicle window. A well-timed session can progress the vehicle and earn event rewards at the same time.

Do not tap the activation by accident

Current guides report that Expert Modifier activates immediately when selected and cannot be turned back off once started.

Blueprint note: Blueprint upgrade costs rise with progression, so this is intentionally a planning estimator rather than a fixed-cost table. Confirm the live Modify screen before activating Expert Modifier or using an Advanced Mod License.
