Greatest Governor
Greatest Governor turns normal account progression into a six-phase competition.. timing matters as much as growth.
The event runs through six one-day phases: Mod Vehicle Boost, Town Development, Tech Advancement, Hero Progression, Troop Growth, and Enemy Buster. Each phase rewards a different set of actions, with daily rewards plus additional rewards based on the combined final ranking.
Greatest Governor teaches the weekly-saving mindset early.
The categories change from phase to phase, but the lesson is constant: do not spend progression materials randomly. That same discipline becomes even more important later in events such as Alliance Duel and Full Preparedness.
Know what scores before you spend
Each phase lasts one day. The point values below follow the published Greatest Governor guide from Last Z Wiki.
Mod Vehicle Boost
Vehicle modification, Radar Hunts, and Boomer team-ups
Published scoring values
- Consume 1 Modification Blueprint6 points
- Consume 1 Golden Wrench625 points
- Complete 1 Radar event300 points
- Start a team-up and defeat a Level 1–2 Boomer320 points
- Start a team-up and defeat a Level 3–4 Boomer480 points
- Start a team-up and defeat a Level 5–6 Boomer640 points
Hold vehicle materials for this phase and plan Radar/Boomer activity around the scoring window instead of using everything immediately.
The source specifically lists Universal Orange Hero Fragments plus blue EXP, Wood, Food, and Electricity chests among this phase's rewards.
Town Development
Structure Power and Construction Speedups
Published scoring values
- Increase Structure Power by 101 point
- Use 1 minute of Construction Speedup20 points
- Buy a pack containing Diamonds30 points
Time useful building upgrades to finish during this phase and keep Construction Speedups available for projects you already planned to complete.
Purchase-based scoring exists in the published rules, but it is optional. Do not buy a pack solely to chase event points.
Tech Advancement
Technology Power and Research Speedups
Published scoring values
- Increase Tech Power by 101 point
- Use 1 minute of Research Speedup20 points
- Buy a pack containing Diamonds30 points
Queue meaningful research in advance so large completions and saved Research Speedups land inside the Tech Advancement phase.
Prioritize research you actually need. Temporary event points are not worth permanently wasting research resources.
Hero Progression
Hero fragments, Power Cores, and Prime Recruitment
Published scoring values
- Consume 1 Orange Hero Fragment1,000 points
- Consume 1 Purple Hero Fragment350 points
- Consume 1 Blue Hero Fragment100 points
- Consume 1 Power Core300 points
- Perform 1 Prime Recruit400 points
- Buy a pack containing Diamonds30 points
Save fragments, Power Cores, and recruitment activity so hero investments score here instead of disappearing between event phases.
Use the event as a reason to time good hero upgrades.. not as a reason to invest in heroes or equipment you do not use.
Troop Growth
Training Speedups and troop training
Published scoring values
- Use 1 minute of Training Speedup20 points
- Train or assemble 1 Level 1 unit10 points
- Train or assemble 1 Level 2 unit22 points
- Train or assemble 1 Level 3 unit30 points
- Train or assemble 1 Level 4 unit45 points
- Train or assemble 1 Level 5 unit60 points
Keep troop queues active beforehand and hold Training Speedups so the acceleration happens while Troop Growth is actually scoring.
The published source lists scoring values through Level 5 units. Check the live event screen for any additional troop tiers on your state.
Enemy Buster
Defeating enemy troops
Published scoring values
- Defeat 1 enemy Level 1 unit10 points
- Defeat 1 enemy Level 2 unit18 points
- Defeat 1 enemy Level 3 unit25 points
- Defeat 1 enemy Level 4 unit35 points
- Defeat 1 enemy Level 5 unit40 points
- Defeat 1 enemy Level 6 unit50 points
Treat Enemy Buster as a coordinated combat phase. Follow alliance/state rules and choose fights that make sense instead of creating losses just to move the leaderboard.
The source awards more points for defeating higher-level enemy units, through Level 6 in its published table.
What to hold for the matching phase
The easiest Greatest Governor points come from materials and upgrades you planned to use anyway.. just at the correct time.
Modification Blueprints
Golden Wrenches
Radar opportunities
Construction Speedups
Building upgrades ready to finish
Research Speedups
Tech upgrades ready to finish
Hero Fragments
Power Cores
Prime Recruitment
Training Speedups
Troop training capacity
Turn event points into real account progress
A high score is useful only when the resources you spend also strengthen the account.
Save by category
Do not use a valuable material the day before its matching phase unless the immediate upgrade is more important than the event reward.
Time completions
Structure and Tech phases reward power increases, so plan worthwhile upgrades to finish while that phase is active.
Use exact point values
When several scoring options are available, compare the live point table before deciding which saved resource gives you the best return.
Treat spending as optional
Some published phases award points for buying Diamond packs. That is a scoring option, not a requirement or a reason to spend beyond your plan.
Build permanent value
Use the event to time upgrades you wanted anyway. Stronger buildings, research, heroes, and troops matter after the leaderboard resets.
Verify the live event
Event values can change with updates or state progression. Use the in-game Greatest Governor screen as the final authority before committing rare resources.
Daily phases matter.. and the six days combine.
Greatest Governor distributes rewards during the individual phases, then combines performance across the event for a final ranking. The published source gives Mod Vehicle Boost as one example of daily rewards, including Universal Orange Hero Fragments and several blue-level chests.
