HEROES · SKILLS & STAR BONUSES
Hero Skills Guide
Know what each hero brings to your account—not just how much damage they deal.
Explore the signature skills and exclusive talents of 31 heroes across all three factions. Learn to spot global bonuses, faction synergies and utility skills before committing rare upgrade materials.
SIN'S QUICK READ
Upgrade for the effect you need.
This often defines a hero's account-wide utility, marching stat bonus or specialty.
Global, marching and deployment-only effects are not interchangeable. Read the activation condition.
Some important bonuses unlock at specific stars. Higher tiers and premium scaling can cost more.
Understanding the four skills
Basic attack damage scaling. Useful, but rarely the only reason to develop a hero.
Area damage, control effects, summons or other distinctive battle actions.
Frequently the differentiator: troop stats, training, research, vehicle EXP, exploration or resource utility.
May reward five heroes from the same faction, strengthen a troop type, or provide a passive with special conditions.
Star bonuses and exact values can change with game updates. The S-tier kits in the main reference were largely verified in September 2026, while A/B-tier information may be older. Use the live hero screen for current costs and exact numbers.
Which skill deserves your next investment?
Construction, research and vehicle-development effects can provide value outside combat. Check whether a bonus says global, or requires deployment; the difference changes its usefulness.
For your primary formation, compare active-skill damage, attack effects, troop-type bonuses and synergies. A strong upgrade for a hero you do not use may be less valuable than an immediate formation improvement.
Some exclusive talents depend on running multiple heroes of the same faction. Read the activation conditions before assuming a bonus will apply to mixed formations.
A star can improve damage, add a new effect, reduce resource costs, or increase supportive troops. Compare the next actual perk with the fragments you would spend.
Examples: Sophia’s Princess’s Gift emphasizes construction efficiency; Amelia’s Scientist emphasizes research; and Chinatsu’s Samurai Spirit contributes Alliance Duel value. Their usefulness depends on the effect’s activation rules and your account goals.

How to prioritize hero skills
- Build your main formation first. Invest in the troop type and faction you actually fight with; a scattered roster wastes scarce resources.
- Don't overlook global utility. Sophia's construction, Amelia's research, Mia's vehicle development, Katrina's exploration, and Chinatsu's Alliance Duel benefit different parts of your account.
- Understand faction conditions. Some exclusive talents only reach their full strength with five heroes of one faction; others affect a troop type even when the hero is not deployed.
- Use A/B-tier heroes strategically. Gathering, training, sieges and secondary formations can matter without making every lower-tier hero a primary fragment target.
- Verify your current skill screen. Star breakpoints, seasonal availability and balance adjustments determine the final spending decision.
