Personal Timing
Full Preparedness begins teaching players to save upgrades for the correct scoring window.
Season 0 and Season 1 are best understood as one overlapping opening era. During the state's first several months, the game introduces the event cycles, alliance competition, state leadership, and cross-state systems that continue shaping play long after the early game ends.
These phases do not behave like two clean, separate themed seasons. Their systems appear gradually and operate together for roughly the first four to five months of a state. The important story is not where one label ends and the other begins—it is how the state develops.
The opening months steadily widen the scale of play. What begins as personal timing becomes alliance planning, then full-state coordination.

Greatest Governor and Alliance Duel turn daily upgrades into a structured weekly cycle.
Capital Clash and State Ruler expand coordination beyond one alliance and into state-wide play.
These events establish the timing, cooperation, and state structure that remain important through every later season.
One of the earliest recurring events. Its short themed rounds reward construction, research, hero, vehicle, and troop progression at specific times.
An early individual competition that previews the themed daily structure later used by Alliance Duel.
Alliance Duel makes personal resource use part of a shared alliance score. Vehicle, building, research, hero, troop, and combat days establish the weekly rhythm players continue using throughout the game.
The first internal Capital battle marks the state's transition from separate alliances to a formal state leadership structure.
Once state competition begins, results from individual, alliance, and state activities contribute toward one combined state performance.
The preparation phase determines which state invades and which state defends. Saturday's Capital battle becomes the conclusion of a full week of state-wide effort.
Not every important early-state change is a headline event. These smaller unlocks shape hero access, alliance growth, government, and cross-state play.
Vivian is introduced through an early limited activity tied to special missions or compass-style rewards. The event gives newer players an opportunity to begin collecting Vivian before she becomes part of normal long-term hero planning.
Alliance Duel makes Alliance Recognition research especially important, because it expands the number of personal reward chests available during the weekly duel cycle.
Capital control introduces official appointments, titles, and state-level benefits. Leadership now affects players beyond a single alliance.
Trucks, plundering, Enemy Buster, and Capital warfare gradually teach players that the map is no longer limited to their home state.
Season 0–1 is where Last Z stops being a collection of unrelated upgrades. Players learn that the same action can score in multiple events, that alliances benefit from shared timing, and that state success eventually depends on several alliances working together.
By the time the state reaches Season 2, the foundational event cycle is already established. Everfrost does not replace these systems—it adds a fully themed seasonal layer with new enemies, resources, buildings, events, and Mastery progression.
