- Open the Hospital and use the troop slider instead of selecting every wounded troop.
- Choose a batch with roughly 1–2 hours of healing time.
- Start the batch, tap the alliance Help button, and wait for alliance members to clear it.
- Repeat until the Hospital is empty.
Fundamentals
Quick mechanics, efficient habits, and small tricks that make a major difference.
These are the details players often learn later than they should. New players can use them to build correctly from the beginning, while returning players can use them as a fast refresher before jumping back into daily events and alliance life.
Learn the mechanic—not just the button.
Many systems in Last Z reward timing, teamwork, or using a different action than the obvious one. The sections below explain both what to tap and why it works.
Batch Healing
Turn alliance help into near-instant healing instead of waiting through one enormous hospital timer.
Promoting Troops
Upgrade lower-tier troops into your highest unlocked tier instead of filling your camps with more weak units.
- Research New Home in the Lab until troop promotion becomes available.
- Open the appropriate camp: Shooter, Rider, or Assaulter.
- Select a troop tier below your highest unlocked tier.
- Tap the yellow box with the white + symbol, then choose Promote.
Spend Gas Where It Pays Back
Gas is valuable when it advances daily rewards, event milestones, seasonal objectives, or repeatable boss rewards.
- Complete daily Radar Missions, but save completed missions on Sunday and Thursday for the next VS scoring day.
- Finish the Danger Lurks mini-event and its Boomer-related objectives.
- Complete your Furylord attacks whenever the event is active.
- Use Gas on Sunday’s Survival Saga.
- Meet seasonal kill requirements, such as Frostbane milestones during Everfrost.

Fast Traveling with Your Vehicle
Use reinforcement speed to cross alliance territory much faster than a normal march.
- Your HQ and the destination must both be inside territory controlled by your alliance.
- Use a formation that is currently inside your HQ.
- Reinforce an allied HQ, alliance city, or eligible seasonal building near your destination.
- After arriving, continue from that location to the actual target.
Six habits worth learning early
None of these tricks is complicated. Their value comes from remembering to use them consistently.
Keep every long queue moving
Before logging out, restart construction, research, troop training, and gathering. Empty queues produce nothing.
Match heroes to their troop type
Blood Rose leads Assaulters, Wings of Dawn leads Shooters, and Guard of Order leads Riders. Matching the formation lets troop-specific skills work together.
Read scoring before claiming
A completed action can often be saved. Check Alliance Duel, Full Preparedness, and active events before claiming Radar, upgrades, recruitment, or other rewards.
Gather while you are away
Send every unused formation to gather before work, sleep, or any long break. Idle formations are missed RSS.
Watch Hospital capacity
A full Hospital can turn additional wounded troops into permanent losses. Check capacity before planned PvP and heal early.
Use alliance help constantly
Tap Help All whenever you log in. Alliance help reduces building, research, healing, and other timers across the entire team.
